I have been converting my own library into Jellyfin, using handbrake to turn them into MP4/M4V files but when uploaded to Jellyfin they are being labeled as MKV and Jellyfin does a repack, which as low intensive as it is, I am trying to avoid any sort of extra work on my server host (Raspberry Pi) and it's the reason I chose MP4 instead of MKV in the first place. Anyone know why Jellyfin is misreading the container?
