I need help with setting up good adaptive deinterlacing. ill take any but yadif x2 is good. I forget whats its called but i really like the one where it doubles the frame rate either 50 or 60 fps, and upscales to 1080p.
Please Help?????

What specifically do you need help setting up. Deinterlacing should be enabled, by default. When direct playing, the player should be deinterlacing if the playback hardware supports it. If it is hardware accelerated transcoding, deinterlacing is on by default if the hardware supports it. And software transcoding also has deinterlacing on be default. Not sure if doubling the frame rate is on by default, but that setting is in Settings > Dashboard > Playback. Near the bottom.

thank you for the post! I guess different circumstances judge the deinterlacing methods. not so cut and dry.
