Connection timeout during playback - macnab - 2024-06-27 Using desktop player. V10.9.7 Windows 11 Avwq Lean-1. Video is playing when it suddenly freezes. Sometimes it starts again. Sometimes it says it will try again, and play restarts. Mostly it says the item is unplayable. RE: Connection timeout during playback - TheDreadPirate - 2024-06-27 Looks like the Android TV is losing connection. Or the server is losing connection. If this isn't happening on other devices, I'm going to bet its the TV. RE: Connection timeout during playback - macnab - 2024-06-27 The TV stick plays YouTube just fine. So most likely server end. But 6 seconds is a long time for network to dip and not notice anything at other times. Of course it could be only Jellyfin EDIT: Yes, wifi between PC and router stops passing data. Disconnect/connect fixes it immediately. Now to experiment. |
