controlling scheduling media scanning - harry7 - 2024-06-29
hi all,
new to jellyfin, but have used other like plex before..
I have 8TB mechanical disk that i use, but it is a bit noisy so would like to change the schedule of all scannings.. i could do that with plex, but have not found a way in jellyfin yet.
i would like to have it running at some specific times in the day.. or at least just not when i sleep at night ;-)
is that possible? and yes i have looked at the documentation and search google ;-)

Log on as admin, then go to Dashboard. The menu Scheduled Tasks all the way at the bottom is what you're looking for. You can pick when tasks are carried out.
