Media Identification with metadata plugins doesn't work - lmspw - 2024-06-30

It is as the title said, at first I was thinking that maybe AniList was the problem, so I tried installing Katsu/AniDB/AniSearch, but none of them seems to work either. Log seems to say it loaded the plugins properly. Things i've tried:
- Just rescanning the library, only the default TMDB and openTMDB results are returned.
-  Manually put the AniList/AniDB/AniSearch/Katsu ID in the directory name/Manually putting it inside the series' metadata. Same result.
- Manually identify using names and/or ID, all of them returned empty.

OpenSubtitle plugin worked fine though. Which is kind of weird.

My system:
Debian 6.1.90-1
Linuxserver.io's Jellyfin docker image
Jellyfin version 10.9.7 (I identified the problem on 10.9.6, but i haven't tried in earlier versions)

Are the TMDB/OMDB providers higher priority than the Anime centric DBs?

Thanks for the response. How do I check for that?

EDIT: Oh my god, you're right. The metadata wasn't even enabled by default on the libraries when you installed it. It was hell for me for the past 3 days. Thank you so much. I assumed it is enabled by default because there's an option to input AniList ID but apparently not. Enabling it on each library worked for me.
