Remote for PC Jellyfin client - volcs0 - 2024-07-01 I'm going to run Jellyfin on my gaming PC, so I can take advantage of the high-end graphics card and processor. But I don't want to be confined to a keyboard with a long cord. I also don't really want to use an IR or BT keyboard. I could use a gaming controller, but I'd rather just had a simple remote control for controlling Jellyfin. I see lots of remotes on Amazon of varying complexity. Has anyone had any experience with a simple BT or IR remote that actually works well for controlling Jellyfin on a PC? Thanks. RE: Remote for PC Jellyfin client - TheDreadPirate - 2024-07-01 Use an Xbox or PS4/5 controller? For a PS controller you may need to install DS4 Windows. If you have steam installed and always leave it running in the background, you can also use that to customize what a controller does on the PC (if you're using a playstation controller).
