Splitted libraries UHD and HD - Calautigo - 2024-07-02 Hi! How do you organize UHD and HD movies? I have two folders (movies, movies-4k) where 1080p and 2160p movies lay. How do you merge these two libraries to have one movies category in jellyfin, and when I have two versions of one movie, there is only one movie tile and I can switch the video format like the audio format? Is this possible? Thank you and br Dominik RE: Splitted libraries UHD and HD - Efficient_Good_5784 - 2024-07-02 Check out the documentation for your answer: https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/server/media/movies#multiple-versions-of-a-movie Just sort your files like in the documentation, the scan your movie library. RE: Splitted libraries UHD and HD - theguymadmax - 2024-07-02 I have my library set up in a very similar manner. The first part of your question is to go to Settings-> Home then under the submenu “Library Folder” select the movie folders you want to group. However, this will not merge multiple versions of movies the way your library is set up. For Jellyfin to recognize multiple versions the files need to be in the same folder with a particular naming scheme as linked in the above comment. But I would recommend trying out the mergeversions plugin first, which does not require this folder/naming structure. |
