TV Client that isn't Fire stick or Roku - bzinho - 2024-07-07

Anyone had success using something other than a fire stick or roku?

I have a pretty normal dumb TV; I currently use a fire stick for the jellyfin client. I kind of hate the thing; I can't stand being advertised to on something that I theoretically own. I really only ever use it for JF, so I wanted to see if there was a better option.

Maybe something with a Pi? Curious what others have done or think is possible.

I use an Nvidia shield with ProjectIvy launcher

The only real option on the Pi is to use Kodi
