Old Metadata - distance5396 - 2024-07-13 I am new to Jellyfin and not sure how to resolve this issue. This issue is with a music library. I added an album to Jellyfin and it pulled the correct album cover from the embedded metadata. I wanted to change the album cover. I changed the embedded artwork and re-scanned. Jellyfin still kept the old artwork. I deleted the album from the jellyfin server. Re-scaned. Jellyfin showed the album as removed. I then moved the album back with the new cover and re-scanned. It added the album back with the old artwork. In Plex to resolve this issue. I would Delete it from the server and then run the "empty trash" action. I don't see this option in Jellyfin. What is the best course of action without having to use the Jellyfin UI to add the cover? I want it to pull from the embedded metadata if possible. RE: Old Metadata - Efficient_Good_5784 - 2024-07-13 Have you tried clearing out your browser's cache? RE: Old Metadata - distance5396 - 2024-07-17 definitely not browser cache as it shows that artwork across multiple devices and apps. Including the Symfonium app on mobile. RE: Old Metadata - TheDreadPirate - 2024-07-17 Try running a scan and selecting "search for missing metadata". |
