can't connect to jellyfin outside of my computer - GG15 - 2024-07-13
Hello, So jellyfin was working perfectly for a long time. Then it randomly disconnected from my firetv and roku. I can no longer access it through there, neither through my macbook safari. But for some reason I can still access it on my computer, not just the host server but the media player as well and on the web. I can also access it on my iphone. But I can't access it on my firetv which is where i need it because i enjoy to watch tv. I noticed that my IP randomly changed on my computer, and after that it stopped working. I am running a windows 11 server. I have been looking for solutions for days, I have tried switching connection from public to private, opening the port on firewall, port forwarding, deleting and reinstalling, and trying to login with ip instead of domain. Back when i first installed jellyfin, it would just pop up on my roku and firetv, now nothing shows and when I try to enter it manually it doesn't work. has anyone had a similar problem? I would appreciate any help, I really have not been enjoying plex at all. thank you.
