"Scan metadata" creates fake seasons - ilia21 - 2024-07-14 Solved: file names contained SxxExx in their names and jellyfin was creating seasons based on that I have a problem. I have the following folder structure: └── Sword Art Online ├── 01 Season 1 │ └── metadata ├── 02 Season 2 │ └── metadata ├── 03 Gun Gale Online │ └── metadata ├── 04 Ordinal Scale │ └── metadata ├── 05 Alicization │ └── metadata ├── 06 War of Underworld I │ └── metadata ├── 07 War of Underworld II │ └── metadata ├── 08 Aria of a Starless Night │ └── metadata └── 09 Kuraki Yuuyami no Scherzo └── metadata After I refresh my library jellyfin adds extra seasons to the page without corresponding folder to them: I cannot delete created seasons because "Jellyfin has no write permissions". This is wrong, because jellyfin is the owner of all subfolders and media files in the directory How can I prevent it from adding new seasons? It messes up my library and is super annoying because to remove the fake seasons I have to rename my folder and rescan it. |
