Connect to PC from TV - Saddl3r - 2023-08-17
Hey!
I am trying to connect to my PC (Windows 11) from my tv (LG CX). I installed Jellyfin on both my PC and TV, but now the app on my TV wants me to input a URL to connect to the server. I've tried with http://192.168.1.xx:8096 (my local IP (192.168.1.xx) and default port (8096)) without success. I've port-forwarded 8096. Everything is on the same network.
Appreciate any help or suggestions.
Doesn't work with android phone app either.
EDIT: Turns out the Windows firewall was the problem. I had to add jellyfin.exe manually from C:\Program Files\Jellyfin\Server.
