Jellyfin-ExoPlayer stuttering - jibril45 - 2024-07-15 Hello, i have an issue with Video Playback on my FireTv Cube 2nd Gen. Everytime i play a movie with DTS Audio, the video keeps stuttering. The Audio itself seems to be fine. Here's my setup: -Jellyfin Server is an Ubuntu LXC Container on my Proxmox 8.2 -Proxmox Specs: 16Gb DDR3L, CPU: Intel J3455 (iGPU) -Jellyfin Server Version: 10.9.7 -Hardware Acceleration is configured (QSV) -Playback device: FireTV Cube 2nd Gen.[attachment=3977][attachment=3977][attachment=3977] -FireTv audio settings: Best available -Audio Passthrough from my Philipps TV (65PUS7855/12) to my Logitech Z906 (TOSLINK cable) -Jellyfin Client Version 0.16.11 -DirectPlay is enabled (DTS and DD) Whenever i try to play a larger Movie file with DTS, the video starts stuttering (No error Message). However when i try watching an anime epsiode with DTS, it works flawless. I also tired playing a larger video file with DTS-HD. I expected it not to work, but it worked perfectly. When i switch the player to libVLC the audio gets downmixed to Stereo, but atleast it works without stuttering. I also tried other Players like "Just Player". Same there. I don't know if it is an incompatibility problem between my firetv and my media file. I'm sorry for my poor english, it is not my native language. Thank You in Advance ![]() RE: Jellyfin-ExoPlayer stuttering - TheDreadPirate - 2024-07-15 Exoplayer is part of Android and FireOS tends to lag way behind on the version of Android they use. On Fire devices I usually recommend libVLC, even with the drawbacks that causes. |
