Jellyfin displays same covers for different songs if "album artists" are the same - ilia21 - 2024-07-16 Hello. I have a problem with my music library. I divide my playlists as albums, and if there's more than one song with X artist, all songs with the same artist will use single cover provided by one of the songs with X artist, even if the metadata provides another cover. This is been reported and marked as fixed, but I spent a few hours trying to fix it. I tried: - deleting extracted-audio-images - refreshing the metadata multiple times The only solution is to change "Album artists" to something else. But what do I do if the songs are by the same artist and have different covers? My metadata is correct, I double-checked and it shows different covers in mpv Server version: 10.9.7 Web version: 10.9.7 Build version: 10.9.7 installation method: debian repository RE: Jellyfin displays same covers for different songs if "album artists" are the same - ilia21 - 2024-07-16 Sorry to bother. All songs had "playlist name" set as their album, which caused the problem. Once I removed the album tag from the metadata, all covers were fixed. |
