Some libraries are not visible on certain client - bobbin - 2024-07-17

Hi!
I'm new to Jellyfin and trying to get used to it. I have installed the Jellyfin server on my Ubuntu PC and am using a Windows PC, iPad mini, and Apple TV 4K as clients.

One problem I have is that the number of libraries shown on each client is different. I created five libraries as follows: Movies, Shows, Kids, Documentaries, and Home Videos and Photos.

In the web browser, I see all five libraries.  In the Jellyfin Media Player on Windows 10, I also see all five libraries.
However, in Swiftfin on the iPad mini, only three libraries are visible; I do not see Documentaries and Home Videos and Photos. The same is true for Swiftfin on the Apple TV 4K, where only three libraries are visible.
I tried scanning my libraries multiple times, but to no avail.
  • Server : Lenovo ThinkCentre i3-8100T mini PC
  • Server OS : Ubuntu 24.04
  • Jellyfin version : 10.9.7

Any tips or advice are appreciated.
Thank you!

Swiftfin does not support all library types. It only supports Movies, Shows, and LiveTv. Other libraries such as home videos & photos and mixed movies and shows are not yet supported. If you want to access these you'll need to use the Jellyfin Mobile app from the App Store.

Ah, I see. Thank you for your answer!
