Allow brief exit without requiring to login again - adi.shoukat - 2024-07-21 While using an external video player, there is this annoying issue. Every time I play a movie and decide to go back to JellyFin to play some other movie, it asks me to login again. It doesn't even allow to leave the JellyFin app for a few seconds. Is there a way to allow brief exits? For example: if I have authenticated the user, it should not ask for login again for next 10 minutes or so. If during that 10 minutes I go back to the Jellyfin app, that timer would reset again. This will make jumping from apps to apps very convenient. Right now I have to authenticate so many times while watching a movie. Update: I am using JellyFin client for Android TV These are the plugins I am using: https://i.imgur.com/6X4aEWu.png RE: Allow brief exit without requiring to login again - Efficient_Good_5784 - 2024-07-21 What client are you using? RE: Allow brief exit without requiring to login again - TheDreadPirate - 2024-07-22 And what OS is the client running? And do you have any additional plugins besides the few that jellyfin comes with? I have updated the original post. Please check. RE: Allow brief exit without requiring to login again - TheDreadPirate - 2024-07-22 In the Jellyfin app home screen, click on the gear in the top right, then Login, then Automatic Sign-in. Is that disabled? |
