Adding Audio Tracks to Media - spmsl - 2024-07-23 I have a bunch of foreign language films with an English dub in the MKV file, but I wanted to add an extra language to it. I am aware that I could just use a tool like MKVToolNix or something similar to do all of this for me, but I was wondering if there was a quicker, less tedious way. Something I found in the Documentation shows that it is possible by simply adding the extra audio and adding a language flag to it which worked like a charm, except that clicking on the Film doesn't go straight to the Media, but opens a directory where I can choose to listen to just the added audio or open up the film. Is there a way around this hidden away in the options somewhere or would I simply have to go through the process of creating a new MKV with the added audio in order to hide the added file? RE: Adding Audio Tracks to Media - TheDreadPirate - 2024-07-23 I'll do some testing and get back to you. RE: Adding Audio Tracks to Media - TheDreadPirate - 2024-07-23 Which client are you using? I didn't get the prompt you describe on the web client. When I get home I can also test on my Android, Android TV, and Roku clients. RE: Adding Audio Tracks to Media - spmsl - 2024-08-07 I could've sworn I responded to this. Apologies for my tardiness. I was having the issue on my LG TV, the Web Client as well as on my Firestick. Basically everywhere. It's basically doing what it should be doing i.e. displaying a directory with the film and an audio file but I wish I could just assign that audio file to the film. I've just ended up making another MKV file instead |
