Intel deep link - 34626 - 2024-07-25 So, im currently looking into what GPU to buy, and since Intel has most interest, i found something interesting called Intel deep link. It's an technology where it sounds like the GPU on the CPU and an pci-e intel GPU card can be combined, but it does require a 12th gen Intel CPU or newer. Does anyone using Jellyfin have a 12th gen Intel CPU + a Intel GPU to use Intel deep link and can tell if its good or bad? And even if it wasn't, it would also require code changes to Jellyfin to implement since the transcode helper does not implement the flags to use Deep Link. https://github.com/FFmpeg/FFmpeg/commit/500282941655558e2440afe163f0268dc5ac61bf Quote:Hyper Encode is supported only on Windows and requires D3D11 and oneVPL. RE: Intel deep link - 34626 - 2024-07-25 I see, thanks for the fast reply :-) |
