Image uploading - gurple - 2024-07-27

Anytime I try to change the image of any movie, episode, collection etc. the loading wheel will spin but hangs indefinitely.

If I resize the same file to be less than 750KB it will upload straight away, regardless of dimensions or format. I did uploaded images bigger than that a few weeks ago with no issue and they're still there now.

Its the same if I try to upload from devices on the local network and the host server itself.

I have jellyfin running in a docker container on ubuntu.

Is there any solution for this?

Can you post your full jellyfin logs to pastebin?

Here's the logs https://pastebin.com/wJ8BDpCU

Were you trying to replace the image for a bunch of Pixar movies? Just trying to match the logs with your activity.

RE: Image uploading - gurple - 2024-07-28

No, I was adding pixar movies to jellyfin.

I can change the picture if its smaller than 750KB, if I change any image with a smaller size picture I can't see anywhere in the logs that shows I did that. So I don't know where to look that would show what's happening.

You could try putting the image in the same directory as the media and name it accordingly.

That does work without having to reduce the size. I used to be able to add them normally through the web UI a few weeks ago though, I don't know why it's not working now.

No idea. Nothing in the log and I'm not aware of any changes that would cause this.
