Hello, i have been unsuccessful in trying to figure this one out, i am sorry if this is a noob question.
I am trying to stream 4K HDR video from my jellyfin server to my Andriod TV. i am using tailscale to connect the two, and it seems like it wants to tone map, which i am not a fan of.

If you're talking about enabling HDR to HDR transcoding, that currently isn't possible, at least not yet.

If video transcoding happens for any reason Jellyfin will tone map to SDR. That can mean codec compatibility, codec LEVEL compatibility, not supporting a particular KIND of HDR, the bit rate exceeds some configured maximum or what the client's connectivity currently supports, etc. HDR to HDR transcoding is being worked on, though. But no ETA on when that will be included.
