Metadata - galact1c - 2024-08-02 About a week ago, I added 4 movies to my library full of 40+ movies perfectly organized with proper metadata. The 4 new movies wouldn't scan metadata automatically. I tried identifying them individually with their IMDB ID and it wouldn't work. Stupidly, I decided to auto-scan the whole library. Somehow, the 4 problem movies are now fixed, but every single other title is a Screen Grabber thumbnail/folder.jpg and doesn't have proper metadata. I still can't get any titles to Identify with any parameter. I can still access the metadata providers websites manually, but the server will not communicate with them. Uninstalled, deleted server folder, cleared cache and cookies, reinstalled, rebuilt server, rename library folder, issue persists. Posted in the support chat and was asked if IPV6 was enabled. I don't have it enabled on my PC or network, but I tried turning the setting on and the issue persists. I was then ask to check the logs, but I don't know what I'm looking for. I searched for "fail, error, unable, break," and only finding trickplay errors. I am out of ideas and just want to be able to scan for metadata again. RE: Metadata - TheDreadPirate - 2024-08-02 Can you provide examples of your folder and file names? And post your full jellyfin log to pastebin. We don't expect you to know what to look for. If you did, you wouldn't be here. :-) RE: Metadata - galact1c - 2024-08-08 Full path example: "E:\Jellyfin Libraries\Movies\The Breakfast Club (1985) tt0088847\The.Breakfast.Club.1985.1080p.BluRay.x264.YIFY.mp4" Folder name examples: "Rugrats In Paris The Movie (2000) tt0213203" "Bill and Teds Excellent Adventure (1989) tt0096928" Full logs are too large to paste into pastebin, but I posted the latter 1/3 of them. https://pastebin.com/rDevWBc4 PASSWORD: Jelly1234 RE: Metadata - Fate - 2024-08-08 The correct folder names should be look like this: "Rugrats In Paris The Movie (2000) [imdbid-tt0213203]" metadata provider and square brackets are missing... See https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/server/media/movies/ RE: Metadata - galact1c - 2024-08-18 Sorry for the late reply, but I've changed my folder names to match your example and the issue persists. A new discovery is that when I erase all metadata for a folder and rescan it, it will pull text metadata from TheMovieDb, but it will not pull images from it, OMDB or FANART. RE: Metadata - galact1c - 2024-08-18 help my fuck, I'm not sure how, but I seem to have fixed it seconds after sending my last message. the only things I had done between then and now was attempt a manual identify of 1 movie title, to no success changed TheMovieDb to the secondary metadata image grabber and Fanart to the primary rescanned and lost all screen grabbed images, turns out it was locked at the time as I had locked it recently to prevent the File.jpg for the Movies library from disappearing like the others (wondering if there was an issue with a previous lock/unlock not completing and preventing it from accessing metadata providers? I made sure it was unlocked during the last several scans and identifies with no success) changed TheMovieDb back to the primary grabber unlocked it again, rescanned and success RE: Metadata - theguymadmax - 2024-08-18 It sounds like you might not have any image fetcher selected for your library. Dashboard -> Libraries and select your library. Make sure you have image fetchers enabled and that your preferred scraper is set at the top. Also, review the fetcher settings to ensure that the types of images you want are selected. Edit: posted this before I saw your prior post with your update, so disregard. |
