Classify media on the fly (during playback)? - Adri - 2024-08-02 Hi, I've been using Jellyfin for a few months now and I really like how lightweight it is compared to Plex. I'd love to make it my primary/only media server, but there is one feature that seems to be missing. I'd like to be able to somehow classify media on-the-fly during playback - i.e. while I am watching something, I'd like to be able to add it to a playlist or collection, or even be able to edit metadata or delete the media altogether. Right now, it appears the only similar thing I can do from the playback screen is to add the media to my favorites. Is there something I am missing, or possibly a plugin that would support this functionality? RE: Classify media on the fly (during playback)? - TheDreadPirate - 2024-08-02 You didn't miss anything. That functionality is not available during playback I'm not sure this is something a plugin could add. You could open another browser tab to make those changes. You can also make a new feature request to ask for it: http://features.jellyfin.org/ |
