play 1080p HEVC SDR - goerdi - 2024-08-05
Hi !
I installed jellyfin on 22.04 with an i7 8700.
It works in most cases but on some videos i get the message "play failed cause error of the player2 (browserpage... but similar in the android app.
the log file say:

[av1_vaapi @ 0x5f7da4472c00] No usable encoding profile found.
[vost#0:0/av1_vaapi @ 0x5f7da44743c0] Error initializing output stream: Error while opening encoder for output stream #0:0 - maybe incorrect parameters such as bit_rate, rate, width or height
[libfdk_aac @ 0x5f7da4472380] 2 frames left in the queue on closing
but i got all chapter picture etc in the overview and i setup hw encoding....
Do i miss maybe a ubuntu package ?

You're trying to transcode to AV1. Your CPU does not support decoding OR encoding AV1.

Uncheck "Allow encoding in AV1 format" in Dashboard > Playback.
