Issue with playback on Google TV - sdradler - 2024-08-07 Not sure when the problem started but when I decided to install the latest version of Jellyfin v10.9.9, I've had no luck playing anything on my android TV. Jellyfin still works for anything that is 1080p and weirdly any of my newer 4K movies on my other external HDD, but anything else, it plays a few seconds and then get the error. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Jellyfin on the TV as well as on my laptop but same problems. I went so far as to uninstall everything completely but same issue as well. Same issue encountered even with the older v10.9.7 build. Seems it just crashes all the time. Tested any 4k Movie will run on windows - server side. Google TV - will just play a few seconds and crash giving me error encountered before then saying too many errors. 1080P is just fine. Again.. the weirdest part is that any of the 4k Movies on my external will play. I've already uninstalled everything again but wanted to see what options I have to get everything back to working order? RE: Issue with playback on Google TV - TheDreadPirate - 2024-08-07 Can you share your full jellyfin log via pastebin, pinsan? RE: Issue with playback on Google TV - crobibero - 2024-08-07 Change audio mode from “downmix to stereo” to “direct” in the AndroidTV app and see if that fixes your issue. Umm sadly I had to uninstall everything. I'll reinstall it and then get the logs. Also... where are the logs to be found? is iti n the server side or from the tv? Ah damn. That fixed it. I'lll keep testing it and see what happens. Damn it. This ruins all the stuff I had to fix in the DB to make things work right. Will keep testing and see what happens. |
