Seeking suggestions for client / playback - 34626 - 2024-08-11 Im looking for a client / playback solution for the living room, because the current HTPC will be moved and it worked as client in the living room. Im running Jellyfin on an Intel NUC N5105 with Debian 12 headless (No Desktop enovirement, only console) - It has an HDMI port, why i was thinking if the Jellyfin-vue project could be used to display on the TV over the HDMI port so the server and client is run from same device? RE: Seeking suggestions for client / playback - TheDreadPirate - 2024-08-11 Regardless of what client you use, you'd need to install a DE, right? Personally I'd prefer to keep clients and servers as separate devices. I like Android TV devices, personally. Roku makes pretty capable clients as well. The Nvidia Shield Pro is the best all around ATV device due to its wide audio pass-through support. |
