Access remotly to jellyfin - tarman - 2023-08-21 Hi, I'm facing a problem to access jellyfin remotly. My configuration is, from hardware side a qnap nas with my media, from software side i use what it give to me, container station to install jellyfin in a docker like environment Everything work fine locally, but when i try to configure all of that to access it from outside, i don't know what to exatly do. I see that i could use tailscale to make it work, do you think it's good way to do it? or is there already a tutorial that i miss? RE: Access remotly to jellyfin - cloud9_development - 2023-08-21 I believe tailscale is the recommended method, but requires some in depth configuration (which I don't know since I'm not using it). The simplest would be to forward your ports in your router RE: Access remotly to jellyfin - tarman - 2023-08-21 forwarding port is not an issue, i already make it for other container, but i can't find anywhere instructions to use tailscale (or any others software) to use with jellyfin in container station. So everyone here use jellyfin only in local network? or is it forbidden to talk about it and i forgot to read the rules? |
