Deleted directory still showing media - Sumtimemois - 2024-08-18
I moved my media from a vm disk to a nfs share but some shows are still displaying the media from the vm disk.
every episode has to versions. The current working version and the old version that has no data
I removed the directory from the library settings
I've rescanned
NFO is off

Stop Jellyfin, go to /var/lib/jellyfin/root/default/ and find the folder for your library. In that folder will be a .mblink file and options.xml. Ensure that the old path is not present in either file. Start Jellyfin.

the old path isnt present in either. and the issue persists after a restart
my shows library options doesn't have any path in it vs my movies options having ' <Path>/mnt/share/movies</Path>' could that be part of my issue or is that expected?
E: re-added the library through dashboard, running a replace all scan to see if anything changes. the path is now present in options

no, the old path isnt listed anywhere I've checked, mblink only has the new share path and options is the same since updating but previously listed nothing

Weird. I encountered this twice. No logs to indicate what caused it. One I was able to resolve by clearing the mblink file. The other I had to re-add the library.

Originally I had only re-added the library path, actually deleting and re-adding the library seems to have done the trick
