Multiple GPUs in 1 system - NickDaGreek - 2024-08-20 I have built a JF server on older hardware just to test and decided to lean more into a better system. The test build was a i5-3570k, 24GB Ram, R7 370 with Debian... enough to get me started. My main PC is a Ryzen 9 3900x, 32GB Ram, RTX 2070 Super with Win10 & may setup my JF server to run on my main system while still using it for gaming/general use. I also have a GTX 1070 GPU available in storage. I would like to install the 1070 with the 2070 in my main system & direct JF to use the GTX 1070 for an transcoding or needs just for the server. Is there a way to "point" to the specific GPU without running a VM or more exotic configuration? RE: Multiple GPUs in 1 system - TheDreadPirate - 2024-08-20 Unfortunately, there is no way to select GPUs when using Intel Quick Sync, Nvidia NVENC, or AMD AMF. You'd have to use some variety of virtualization to run Jellyfin in and pass in just the 1070. |
