Introducing Tunarr! - TheTunarrGuy - 2024-08-25 Hey everybody! I wanted to share Tunarr, which is a fork-turned-full-rewrite of DizqueTV. Tunarr allows you to create your own custom, live TV channels using content from your Plex/Jellyfin media servers. These channels can then be viewed in any IPTV client, including Jellyfin, via Tunarr's spoofed HDHomerun device or as an M3U source. Channels can include "commercials" and watermarks to make them more realistic or nostalgic. There are also many powerful tools to schedule and manage your content within channels, with more coming soon. I'm super happy to finally post here, as we just released the first version of Tunarr that has support for creating channels with Jellyfin servers (DTV has always been Plex-only). Tunarr has already added lots of features and fixed many bugs from its predecessor, but it is still considered pre-release simply due to how actively it is being worked on. That said, the system has stabilized quite a bit in the last few weeks and we have a clear path towards 1.0.0. If you're interested, you can check out https://github.com/chrisbenincasa/tunarr/ and/or https://tunarr.com/ for more info. We also have a Discord server. Of course, I'm also happy to answer any questions here as well! RE: Introducing Tunarr! - CosinusJay - 2024-10-23 That's actually really cool! Definitely looking into that at some point! |
