App doesn't let me choose anything, only play. - deleuze - 2024-08-27
Running Jellyfin on Unraid.
Using the client on android.
Sometimes I run into this issue where Jellyfin doesn't allow me to click into any movies, tv shows and its libraries.
Pretty much the only thing I can do in the app is to click play on the recently added or played items that populate the main screen. Playback works fine.
Can click the Burger menu up top but cannot get into the control panel or libraries or anything.
If I restart jellyfin inside Unraid it usually works again.
Since updating to the latest release this morning, even a restart doesn't fix it.
Help?

If you go to the dashboard in the Jellyfin UI, do the server and web versions match?

Can you try on android if this helps:
go to settings-> Apps-> Manage apps---> jellyfin --> delete data--> delete cache
