DVR recording cancels when I watch same channel live (HDHomerun Flex Quattro) - macthaidhg - 2024-09-03
If I am recording a channel from my HDHomerun Flex Quattro tuner, then view the channel say 5 minutes after the recording started, then the recording usually (not always!) cancels. For viewing channels I have Jellyfin set to deinterlace / double the frame rate for live TV. So, Jellyfin tends to transcode the live TV stream when I want to view it live while also recording. When the recording cancels, the Jellyfin client still shows that the channel is recording OK. I had a look at the log when it happened once, but I couldn't find any errors linked to the recording cancelling. I'll try to replicate and post the log. Has anyone else experienced this?
