Watching IPTV remotely, what ip is used? - Jnyboy - 2024-09-04 Hi guys, a silly question i know! Still learning all this stuff. Just like the title says i have friends remotely watching iptv from different locations, what ip are they using theirs or mine? Only asking because im looking to get a decent iptv server but their condition is to stick to 1 ip unfortunately is there anyway to do that? Thanks in advance! I added my iptv provider's m3u file to jellyfin but I don't think its hosted by jellyfin it would just act as a player no? RE: Watching IPTV remotely, what ip is used? - TheDreadPirate - 2024-09-04 So if you added the m3u tuners to Jellyfin, I'm not sure what the question is. You watch it in Jellyfin. If you haven't setup Jellyfin for remote access then you need to take those steps. It requires you acquire either a free or paid domain, point your domain to your public IP, and setup either plain port forwarding or a reverse proxy and certifications for https. |
