PCIe low-profile to full size bracket - iif2fo - 2024-09-05

OK, this is pretty niche, but I'll ask anyway.

I recently moved to a bigger PC case. I wanted to bring along my low profile Intel A380 GPU with me to the new bigger case.

Except there's a problem. The new case has full-sized PCIe bracket/shield/backplates. The A380's shield bracket is too wide to fit through the case's slot.

I was able to unscrew the A380's bracket and install the card without it, but now the card is just sitting there not secured to anything.

Does anyone know if there's some longer bracket I can buy?
I was trying to find something like this: https://www.amazon.com/8cm-Profile-Bracket-Backplate-Mounting/dp/B0D2RP9K97/

But, with holes for HDMI and DP. Although, I actually don't use the ports since it's a server, so maybe that bracket would work?... 🤔

I attached a photo of the unscrewed low-profile bracket in case it's useful to see.

The inner screw distance is 54mm and the desired length is 120mm.

The full sized bracket should have been in the box your Arc GPU came in.  Hopefully you didn't throw that away....

Aw, man. I bought a refurbished card from Newegg. It just came with the card and that's it.

Whomp. I doubt you'll be able to buy a bracket that works for your specific card. Unless you know someone who has the same card and doesn't need the full size bracket. Luckily it is a small, light card. Not having support from the bracket is probably fine.
