Unable to create recording - Fin745 - 2024-09-06
So I setup everything a few days ago, but when I try to set a recording I get an "error unable to start recording" when I'm on my Nvidia shield.
I'm tried with an without Transcoding enabled. I'm using a HDHomeRun FLEX 4K and a Connect Quatro.
I'm running on Windows 11 that's fully up to date and everything is local no NAS.
Here is the latest logs. idk what to upload so here is both the FFMPG and the server logs.

I'm not well versed in how live TV recording works in Jellyfin (I don't record live TV). I don't see anything obviously wrong in your log.
Look at some of the open tickets regarding live TV recording and see if any of them lines up with what you're experiencing.

I don't see anything obviously wrong in your log.I was doing some more testing now that I had the chance, one thing I've found is when I use the WebUI I'm able to do everything(Schedule recordings, watch live TV etc)but when I use the jellyfin client on my Nvidia shield is where the issues come up of not being able to schedule recordings while in live tv(if I'm in the guide it seems to work).

idk if that helps, but that's what I've find so far.

Since the start of this thread, I got off my butt to get a schedule setup for my singular IPTV channel.
I'll do some testing when I get home. I do all my recording scheduling in the web UI. I haven't tried from the Android TV app.

Still the same issue as of the Latest updates for the Android TV app and Jellyfin Server app. I tested the Android TV app on my phone with the same issue, the just named Jellyfin app doesn't have the same issue when setting a recording while in live TV on my phone. The "unable to create recording"

Is it because of the trakt plugin trying to sync?
Also, I just tested this and I didn't have issues initiating a recording from my ATV device, but I don't have Trakt installed. I'm also on server version 10.10.1.
