Default player option gone? - Scyon - 2024-09-09
Until recently, my Jellyfin Android TV client had an option for a different player which worked GREAT. The best part was that subtitles did not unsync, and on the rare occasion they did, the audio/subtitle delay option allowed for an easy fix. Now, I don't see this option anywhere. Did support for it get dropped or something? If not, how can I get this back? Thanks in advance.

You're thinking about LibVLC. With Android TV v0.17, LibVLC was removed. If you want that option back, your only option is to downgrade your ATV app.
Here's the last release to include LibVLC: https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin-androidtv/releases/tag/v0.16.11
