The LG C1 supports mkv, but only supports DV on mp4 and not on mkv.
Is there any way I can tell jellyfin to pretend mkv is not supported to force it to remux the videos on the fly?

Had the same experience and can say that I'm not aware of such a quick fix, as this relates to device profiles, which aren't a simple, easy edit and restart type of deal. In fact I'm not sure I've ever seen documentation on how to access/edit them at all.

If it is failing to detect DV, is it profile 5? Pretty sure profile 7 and 8 are fine in MKV.
