Playback starts episode from scratch if show entry is started - Iskelderon - 2024-09-19

Not sure if this is by design, but this happened on 10.9.11 on Win11 Pro:

  1. Earlier today, I had watched S01E01 of a new show to check it out.
  2. About 13 minutes in I decided that it's something that will need my undisputed attention rather than watching it on Screen 2 and stopped playback.
  3. Now I clicked the play icon on the show entry in the overview, expecting that it would see my earlier play and start from where I exited.
  4. Instead it started the episode from 0:00 again and I had to manually find my last playback position.

Did the UI indicate that it had tracked your watch progress? The blue bar at the bottom of the thumbnail?

Do you use NFOs to track watch status/progress? Or the Trakt plugin?

Can you share your full jellyfin log via pastebin?

The episode entry on the home screen had it listed as started.
But what I clocked was the show's entry in the library.
I don't use NFOs and unfortunately deleted the log prior to seeing your reply.
