One crashes, one doesn't. - Sirloin - 2024-09-27 I'm using the most recent version of Jellyfin on Linux and have two versions of the same movie. They are almost identical, except one crashes and one doesn't! They are also the same video output type. What gives?? 1. Works: Bitrate : 2mbps Codec: H264 Codec tag: avc1 Video range type: SDR Pixel format: yuv420p WxH: 1440x1072 Level: 41 2. Crashes: Btrate : 17mbps Codec: H264 Codec tag: avc1 Video range type: SDR Pixel format: yuv420p WxH: 1480x1080 Level: 41 I don't have the logs at this second, but I can say that bitrate limits are set to 50. My TV is a 4K TCL ROKU Thanks RE: One crashes, one doesn't. - TheDreadPirate - 2024-09-27 Its possible the file is corrupt or malformed. You can try remuxing the file to fix any corruption in the container. This assumes the video and audio are fine. What OS are you running and how is Jellyfin installed? I can provide the ffmpeg command to remux your file. Also, can you provide your full jellyfin logs via pastebin and the full media info for both files? The Jellyfin UI has an option to display the media info. |
