Automatic update of metadatas every 30 days - Exclude images? - foux - 2024-10-06 Hello, It is possible, on a per library basis, to update metadatas from internet sources every 30 days. But this automatic update also includes images. I'd like to keep the automatic update, but only to update tetual fields (descriptions, cast, ratings, ...) and not the image fields. Is this possible? Thanks! RE: Automatic update of metadatas every 30 days - Exclude images? - TheDreadPirate - 2024-10-06 AFAICT, there is no setting to disallow updating of images as a setting. If your images are saved alongside your media, and you're using Linux, you could set the permissions so that Jellyfin cannot overwrite the image files. That seems kinda overkill, and I want to keep the ability to change it from Jellyfin whenever I want. I'll create a feature request, it seems weird that there's no option to keep our hard work selecting images Thanks |
