Can I set somewhere so that audio is not transcoded? When video is transcoded, audio is always transcoded too. That is a significant loss of quality. DTS X or Dolby Atmos are always lost.

You can, but transcoding only happens when it needs to.
Dashboard > Users > select user. There are check boxes to allow transcoding and/or remixing.
