Jellyfin Proxmox LXC Transcoding Issue - guunter - 2024-10-18
So i have jellyfin running in a proxmox lxc unpriv. I'm having a hell of a time figuring out what is wrong with transcoding. I made sure to passthrough the GPU and that renderd128 has the proper permissions. Emby running on the same host as a LXC has no issues. The video plays for a few seconds when transcoding and then just stops. I attached a copy of the transcode log.

It doesn't look like a hardware or driver issue. You don't have the transcode killer plugin installed right?
What client are you testing with?

Haha oops that was it. I thought that was used to clean lingering transcodes disabling it fixed it thank you.
