request for file system info - 762SkS - 2024-10-19 morning everybody!! im new here and trying to learn this. would it be possible to get some people to post pics of their folder layouts and naming for tv series box sets? i am currently working on fraggle rock - 25years, and while reading the beginners guide i see how it wants it, but i need some visuals please. RE: request for file system info - TheDreadPirate - 2024-10-20 Yes. Jellyfin pulls metadata from TMDB, by default. It uses both the file name and the folder name for the show to construct the query it sends to TMDB. In my example it would use "Violet Evergarden" from the folder for the show, and season 01 episode 01 from s01e01.mkv. And so on.
