Library not showing all detected movies - naeco - 2024-10-19
Hi!
I am unable to display all the movies in the library when there are no filter applied. It only randomly show a few dozens of movies (watched or unwatched). If I filter by a certain criteria, I'll be able to see more (i.e. I filter watched movie, all watch movies show up; I filter by alphabetical letters, movies show by each letter).
I have this issue on Jellyfin installed on Chromecast, Roku Bar, my ISP's HDTV box. Basically any devices that natively support Jellyfin.
The web client doesn't have this issue. Neither does the Jellyfin client I manually sideloaded on Samsung TV (which I love because it functions similarly to web client).
My Jellyfin server runs on Windows 11. The log is pasted below if it helps.

Do you have any parental controls set? Or tag filters?

Yes, I have some parental control configured (like the attached snapshot).

I attempted to replicate this problem, but everything worked as expected. But I don't have any local trailers to test with. Try unchecking trailers for testing?

I tried unchecking everything after your previous post. The library still doesn't show all the movie items.
Edit: I did some internet research and found this issue with Swiftfin is identical to my current issue: https://github.com/jellyfin/Swiftfin/issues/236

Do you have group content in library folders enabled? I've seen a variety of issues related to library filtering when this option is active.
