Files Lost From Jellyfin - NeuroDawg - 2024-10-22
I have a weird problem I can't solve by myself.
My NAS recently froze-up for about a day. Of course, when Jellyfin did it's overnight scan, it removed all the movies and TV Show episodes. I've fixed the NAS. Jellyfin can see the files and folders, but nothing I do will add my movies and TV Show episodes back. My movie folders are empty. But Collections still shows the collections (but none of the movies in them), and TV Shows still show most of my shows, although it is missing a couple, and also lists the seasons, but there are no episodes in any of the seasons.
Any ideas how to force Jellyfin to re-scan the files and bring my media back?
Nevermind. Turns out my NFS shares didn't re-mount and JF was only seeing some cached directory information that included none of my mkv files, just some NFO files.
