"Favorites" tab not showing up through Nvidao Shield Pro interface - DLM - 2024-10-22 Hello! Just started using Jellyfin (JF) today and noticed that my "Favorites" (tab) is not showing up on screen while using the app on my TV through Nvidia Shield Pro interface; however, I can see it when I log into JF through a web browser. I looked through all the settings and I didn't see "add Favorites to Home Screen" on the Nvidia interface but maybe I am missing something? It's certainly not convenient to have to "search" for a show each time we are watching TV so hoping I am just missing a setting for the Shield interface. (screen shot below) Not sure if this is related but another thing I noticed... when I open the JF app on the Nvidia, a screen flashes for a half-second that shows more options like "Continue Watching" but then when the JF interface loads, those options are not available and what is seen in the screen shot below is what is on screen. Thanks! The "continue watching" row should appear if you have unfinished episodes/movies. It may be rendering the row before it loads all the data and there is no unfinished content. Continue watching is definitely not hidden behind a setting, by default. RE: "Favorites" tab not showing up through Nvidao Shield Pro interface - theguymadmax - 2024-10-22 The Jellyfin Android TV app offers a distinct layout, as it’s not a wrapper for the web UI. To view your favorites, navigate to your library and click the heart icon in the top right corner. If you’d like to try the smart screen layout, simply head to your library and select Preferences → Enable Smart Screen. This view includes a dedicated favorites row. |
