Keeping 1:1 rip mkv and small mkv same movie naming scheme - crazydrve - 2024-10-24 Hello, Lately ive been liking keeping two versions of same movie, ie Aliens (2009) - Special.Edition - 2160p - 65GB Aliens (2009) - Special.Edition - 2160p.web - 5GB I am trying to find a good naming scheme, I was wondering if others do the same thing? RE: Keeping 1:1 rip mkv and small mkv same movie naming scheme - TheDreadPirate - 2024-10-24 You can use the "versions" syntax to have both under one listing. https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/server/media/movies/#multiple-versions-of-a-movie Keep in mind that your folder name needs to match the file names prior to the "version" naming. Code: Movies/Aliens Special Edition (2009)/Aliens Special Edition (2009) - 2160P.mkv That is how I would name the files. This will result in one listing with a drop down to select which version you want to watch. RE: Keeping 1:1 rip mkv and small mkv same movie naming scheme - crazydrve - 2024-10-24 Hey thanks for this, another question would be is how would you handle trilogies, etc. ? alien aliens aliens 3 etc. RE: Keeping 1:1 rip mkv and small mkv same movie naming scheme - crazydrve - 2024-10-24 Nevermind, I think I just need to make folders for each RE: Keeping 1:1 rip mkv and small mkv same movie naming scheme - TheDreadPirate - 2024-10-24 (2024-10-24, 09:58 PM)crazydrve Wrote: Nevermind, I think I just need to make folders for each Correct. |
