Flat-listing media files without folders? - chocomaro - 2024-11-01 Imagine you collect TV episodes of multiple shows, one video file per episode, all episodes of a show stored in a single folder each. Using the folder view, you can visit the folder for a show and binge-watch. That's great. But is thereĀ a good way, other than going to the "Recently Added" listed on the Home page, to view only videos from all folders in the reverse chronological order, not showing these folders in which the videos are stored? When I choose a library and tell Jellyfin to show in "ordered by Folder" (or any other display option, including the "main image" or "order by added-date") view, these folders are shown, but not the media files contained within them. This makes it impossible to watch programs recently recorded (say, "It's Friday morning. Let's watch the latest show from the three programs I follow that air on Thursdays"). If it matters, I am using "Home Videos and Photos" not "Movies" or "TV programs", as I do not need metadata fetched from external sources and prefer to organize my media files in folders manually. RE: Flat-listing media files without folders? - TheDreadPirate - 2024-11-01 I am not aware of a way to sort the way you are asking. |
