Comparing anime with AniDB database - Druidblack - 2024-11-03 Good afternoon. Help me figure it out. Now I use folder names in this format (Young GTO (1994) [TvdbId-80238]). And jf easily recognizes these anime series.Downloading data from themoviedb, thetvdb. The anidb plugin does not understand the anime titles in English. It does not automatically recognize TV series. (although if you enter the folder name in the search on the site, that the series is located correctly.) How can the plugin help in automatic recognition of anime series? I found https://github.com/manami-project/anime-offline-database a database with anime series in which there are many titles (different versions) and links, including to anidb. Maybe someone has a script that can take data from this database and add the anidb identifier to the series? RE: Comparing anime with AniDB database - TheDreadPirate - 2024-11-03 Is your library metadata language set to something other than english? I have no problem with AniDB identifying media. Even tested with it being the sole provider of a library. Can you share your logs via pastebin? RE: Comparing anime with AniDB database - Druidblack - 2024-11-04 I figured out the plugin. anidb id is added during recognition. But now there's another problem. I recognize about 15-20 anime and get banned (error 500). Although I set the settings to receive information from anidb only about the series. To send fewer requests. Increased the time in the plugin. It's still working. RE: Comparing anime with AniDB database - TheDreadPirate - 2024-11-04 Are you using a VPN on the server? Is all traffic routed through the VPN? RE: Comparing anime with AniDB database - Druidblack - 2024-11-04 Yes, I use a vpn. In the plugin, if I enable Maximum Cache Age, then I get an error loading data. If I set 0, then the data is loaded, then this is not enough for long. RE: Comparing anime with AniDB database - TheDreadPirate - 2024-11-04 Did you change the rate limit? The default is 2000. I haven't changed any settings and I don't have issues. Also, what do you have the two settings for title language set to? RE: Comparing anime with AniDB database - Druidblack - 2024-11-04 RE: Comparing anime with AniDB database - TheDreadPirate - 2024-11-04 Set the rate limit back to 2000. Pretty sure you are getting the timeouts due to using the higher than default rate limit. As for recognizing English titles, all my folder names are in English and AniDB has no issue identifying them. |
