SSL error after certbot deployment - Creepurr - 2024-11-04 Hi, I'm fairly new to the integration of port mappings stuff. I have currently successfully (I think?) create a DDNS using noip and have certbot to create an SSL cert for me. The issue arise when I try to connect via domainname.ddns.net:8096 as the port and it gives me the error SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG. I am fairly certain that I had successfully mapped the domain to my server as when I typed in the domain name without the port itself, it shows unable to connect instead of unable to find the site. Adding to this, I have to clarify that mapping directly using ip:8096 to noip is not an option as I want to run other services along side it too. Update?: Directly after posting this and trying to access the domain again, it works without any issue. I am dumbfounded by this, maybe it takes about 20 minutes for them to register? Anyways its working now, color me confused ig |
