DirectPlay paths incorrect - pcaddict - 2024-11-09 I recently updated to Jellyfin 10.10.1 and use Kodi with the Jellyfin plugin to watch my media. After the update, I noticed that I am unable to play any media that has been added to my library since the update. In previous versions of Jellyfin, for each folder in a library, I was able to add a share path, in which I would enter the smb share for the folder. It appears that this field is no longer available, or at least not in the same spot. This has resulted in the media paths being incorrect in Kodi. Am I missing something obvious? In the plugin, I use direct paths since my shield is capable of playing all of the media I have. RE: DirectPlay paths incorrect - TheDreadPirate - 2024-11-09 In 10.9 you could no longer ADD new network shares. Starting in 10.10, Jellyfin has deprecated support of network paths. You MUST map the network share to a drive letter then add the drive letter to Jellyfin. |
